Give her humphreys # 3 teething tablets, or hylands teething tablets, thats what i gave my kids and some tylenol when i could tell that they were in pain.

I would use Baby Ambesol, Zwiback cookies, and teething rings.

Some people swear by those hylands teething tablets, i thought they were crap and didn't help my boys at all. If the teething was bad enough I WOULD give them baby tylenol, especially at night so they could feel well and rest. During the day I would freeze a bannana and hold it for my boys while they would knaw away on it. I would also freeze those teething rings or put pressure on the gums with a clean finger.
I have also heard of taking an empty ice cube tray, turning a nipple to a bottle upside down in it, filling it with water and freezing it. when it is frozen take it out and put it on an empty bottle and that way they can suck on something cold without freezing their hands. But in order to tell you how much tylenol to give her, I would need to know here weight (my kids ped gave me a chart of how much according to weight) |

I think .8 is ok to give at that age but don't go nuts with it.
let her bite on your fingers. I got teething biscuits but he can't hold them in his mouth. I also tried a cold carrot but again I had to hold it there. I also did teething tabs and orajel. I ended up using tylenol. mine like to chew on washcloths, dry or frozen. |

Teething is very normal, just get some teething toys really cold or icy, or some frozen bagels and have her gum them, that should help.
A great way to comfort a teething baby is to rub the gums firmly and gently with a clean finger. The first few passes are sometimes a bit uncomfortable, but babies get more and more relaxed as the massage continues. Many dr's advise against giving infants medication that they may not necessarily need as their organs are still developing. Tylenol can build up over time and too much can possibly cause liver damage. |

I will not give my baby tylenol unless it is absolutely necessary. Acetaminophen can be damaging to the liver and I would rather not start her on it that young. I figure when she's old enough, if she is anything like me, she will be taking a lot of tylenol for headaches so I figured I'd not like to let her have an early start. You can get these things called "teething tablets" at Wal-Mart in the baby section. I have never used them because my baby is too young to be teething, but my cousin used them with all four of her kids and she said that they were excellent and worked wonders. Every pediatrician will tell you different things about what is ok. My baby's doctor says to let her have baby food at 4 months, but many doctors say not until 6 months. It is just different with every doctor.

I am/was scared of orajel...for fear that it may numb his throat (don't laugh, I'm a 1st-time mom...lo), so I spoke w/ my son's pedi and she said that tylenol was okay to give when it seems that he's in a ridicilous amount of pain. Other than that, we use teething rings, frozen waffles and those 'freezies' that come in the long skinny pastic...just wrap one in a clean washcloth.
